This Pub is Closed Long Term

A relatively new pub that opened as Bar Marina in September 2016 but closed again March 2019. After a refurbishment it reopened Saturday 6th July 2019 as the Paddle & Peel. 3 cask beers and 2 KeyKegs are usually available along with cans and bottles. A wood fired pizza oven keeps hunger at bay.

An impressive small bar, with stone/wooden floor and a bar made from a church pew, even incorporating a mission donation box. The bar serves local beers direct from cask, and some craft kegs. An enormous old picture of the Queen Mary dominates the wall next to the bar; they also have a same sized picture of the Queen Elizabeth but there's no room for it. Some of the tables are made from driftwood. Extra seating available on the forecourt.
