A modern pub whose interior has a traditional feel, the Saxon stands in a housing estate to the north west of Totton. It has a spacious lounge, and a public bar with pool table, two dart boards and televised sport. On the lawned area outside are picnic tables. Food, which is served all day, includes roast dinners on Wednesday and Sunday, and a takeaway curry service is offered. Events include Sunday's quiz night and meat draw, and monthly live music, karaoke or disco.
