This impressive looking pub, which is popular with both locals and visitors, was originally a coaching inn. A single bar, which serves 4 local guest beers and a wide range of spirits, is surrounded by several rooms with traditional features such as oak floors, cast iron stoves, prints and old furniture. A garden room extension provides additional space for eating. A daily menu offers various modern pub fayre. There is a large garden to the side of the pub with plenty of garden benches and a children's play area that includes an antique tractor.
