This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Colyer Arms was the only pub in the village of Betsham so the destruction of this pub was keenly felt. There had been a pub on the site since 1715. It is thought to have been re-built in 1852 and continued to serve the village until its closure in 2010. It was demolished the following year to make way for a housing development that was not universally welcomed...
It had been a tied Courage house and during its final years was offering quality Greek cuisine. A sad loss.
