This Pub is Permanently Closed
Formerly a shop, The Cob Tree was an isolated roadhouse that traded from around 1820 until its closure in 2003. The older of the two photographs confirms that it was part of the Watney tied estate during the 20th century.
It was subsequently converted to a private house and in 2020 it was operating as a day nursery.
