Traditional and welcoming valley pub, on the corner of Whitcombe Street, close to the main shopping area and thriving market. Single main bar with pool room to the rear. Sports TV often plays, but is rarely obtrusive except on major rugby match days. Children are welcome until 9pm. Occasional live music. Approximately one mile from the Dare Valley Country Park, with great walks and pitches for (pre booked) campers and touring vans.
