Located just off the town centre, this busy and well loved pub boasts many awards for beer and food. The rear elevation has been extensively refurbished, with the bar and restaurant both benefitting. Cwrw Otley microbrewery adds to the attractions, with its beers served alongside several guest beers. A variety of styles are served, plus craft beers and ciders. The restaurant is highly acclaimed, with a menu featuring locally sourced choices. Special food and drink events occur throughout the year. A gem of a pub.

Adjacent to restored staircase locks on one of the few surviving sections of the Glamorganshire Canal.
