The hotel is an imposing building adjacent to the river. Inside is the Courtyard Bar, a large modern and comfortable two-roomed bar with a hotel feel, separated from the main hotel entrance by a covered coach way. Although very much a diners venue the bar and beers offer drinkers welcome and choice. House Beer "Coachmans" from St Austell.
