A comfortable, welcoming pub with horse brasses covering the beamed ceiling. Lots of trophies on display on the shelves show the sporting interests. Old pictures of the Bateman brewery and workers together with a 1936 diploma award add to the ambiance. Home made food with local seasonal items.
