This is a thriving family pub on the edge of a very popular beach. It is a purpose built chalet-style building. External walls house a series of kiosks selling takeaway food, ice-cream and hot and cold drinks. Inside are many tables and chairs for large and small family groups, serving food all day with a happy cheerful atmosphere. The well-stocked bar serves two regular ales , plus a third changing beer in high summer from e.g. Red Rock or New Bristol Breweries. This privately owned Free House is open all year apart from a three-week closure in January, and is at the heart of Dawlish Warren, with tourist shops and gaming arcades alongside, and has large holiday parks with bungalows, chalets, static vans, caravan parks and camping sites, all within walking distance. Evening closure can be as early as 9pm if very quiet.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
