This Pub is Permanently Closed

Located in the ground floor of a modern office development, just around the corner from Moorgate station. Previously the Penny Black, the present name - since the early 1990s - is a reference to weaving equipment, this having once been the City's textiles area. Modern interior laid out around an island bar. There's a patio at the back, as well as under a colonnade at the front by a large pedestrianised area.

October 2023: Demolition company sign on the building - otherwise untouched.

November 2024: Covered up - demolition started.
