Once a ballroom, now a Wetherspoon's pub, with 10 handpumps serving a wide range of brews, including local ales. It is a friendly place inside a beautiful building, where children are welcome. Real ale is dispensed from the entrance-level and upstairs bars. Enjoy service with a smile as this station pub can get very busy. Breakfasts are served from 7am on weekdays.

Conversion

Once the grand ballroom of the Great Eastern Hotel, there are sumptuous Rococo plasterwork and panelling, including painted scenes set in Rococo frames, modelled on an apartment in Paris. It is now a Grade II-listed Wetherspoon's and its pub use fits especially well with this beautiful building.
