This Pub is Permanently Closed

This was a time warp of a pub. Apart from the Watney's style signage that hasn't been seen for many a year, it had very 70s furnishings consisting of banquettes, small round upholstered stools, normal chairs and round metal framed tables. There was a central island bar, with three separate inter-connected rooms wrapped around it. The decor was almost entirely green, perhaps to make the pub parrot seen in the cage at the back feel at home. Although it didn't serve real ale, this is still a sad loss of a locals' pub.
