Unusual five-storey postwar building with some art deco lines and a modern ground floor frontage. Not big inside with Industrial decor, and a real mix of chairs & tables. Renamed c.2000 as Stream (bar), closed some time later in the decade, serving as a noodle café and as a shop. Reopened again Dec 2013 as Kench & Bibsey (cocktail bar). Flooded March 2014, changed hands and reopened in May 2014 as Ask for Janice. Closed at the beginning of the pandemic. Long Lane opened in May 2022 and closed in September 2023. Reopened January 2025 as a Latin American restaurant with craft beer. [You may have to eat]
