FEB 2025 - WARNING: The handpump is serving a Pilot Beer labelled “Pours like cask, fresh from the keg” from a sealed keg. Only low CO2 pressure is applied, so it doesn't taste fizzy. Although it’s the same live beer that may also be put in casks CAMRA does not consider this to be Real Ale, as gas is applied above atmospheric pressure, and does not endorse it being served through a handpump.

OCT 2024 - Has installed a handpump for REAL ALE.

JULY 2020 - Refurbished and opening with a new name - was Bar Brig. Has a basement venue for music etc.
