Set in the heart of an old vineyard village with a striking white statue of Sir Walter Scott outside, this comfortable family-run hotel offers quality food and drink. Old photos adorn the walls reflecting the Hotel’s literary history. As well as the main bar area there is a conservatory restaurant and an outdoor seating area at the front. High Teas served Wed, Thurs, Fri: 4.30-6.30. It is popular with walkers, cyclists, tourists and locals.
