Historic inn situated close to Kelso Abbey. The split level bar and lounge/eating area have wood panelled floors and part exposed brick walls, giving it a brasserie-like feel. The striking bar counter has one handpump and an impressive range of spirits on the optics behind. Good value meals are served all day, including pizzas, burgers, pub classics with more special dishes on the evening menu. There's a children's menu but no other facilities for them. The toilets are accessed through the through the rear courtyard area.
