JUN 2025: Has partially reopened under newtemporary management from the 17th June. Closed Sun and Mon for now and closing earlier than expected in the evenings. Keep an eye on Facebook. A minimal food menu may be available. Cask beer will be available, but perhaps not until the first week of July (none by 10th July). Details shown may have changed.

A pub with a vaulted, wood-panelled lounge bar furnished with wooden tables and chairs. There is a separate overflow/function room. The real ales are often from smaller Scottish breweries. It is near to the foot of the Royal Mile so is very handy when visiting the Scottish Parliament, Holyrood Palace and other local attractions.

NOTE: Stays open later in the summer.
