This Pub is Closed Long Term

Local friendly pub on the edge of the town centre, Reopened as the Moors Tavern, the clubhouse for Spennymoor football club in August 2016, and the history of the football club is reflected in the smart refurbishment.

After closure due to football club using a clubhouse at its ground, it reopened in November 2021

December 2021 - handpumps removed.
