Public bar. Pub reopened October 2013 after 2 months closure and after a brief flirt with real ale for the first time, it was withdrawn. The Indian restaurant and take away called Zafflong which occupied one side of the building ceased trading in summer 2016 and it is understood the pub is to occupy the whole building again and become the Travs Bar & Grill. This venture did not appear to be successful and the pub closed in October 2016, it is unclear if it will reopen.

Reopened Christmas 2018 - no real ale but food avilable as its name implies - the Travellers Rest Bar and Restaurant.

Real ale introduced after covid lockdown May 2021, unsuccessful removed September 2021
