Typical town centre JD Wetherspoon. Large single room bar with dining areas and more relaxed seating near the door. Good value food and a selection of real ales constantly changing, but with the three regulars- Greene King Abbot Ale, Ruddles Best and Sharp's Doom Bar. The ciders served from boxes in the cool cabinet are not considered as real by CAMRA.

District Pub of the Season Winter 2015/16. Close to the bus & railway station Station, routes to Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley.
