Micropub selling real ale, opened 2018, on first floor of a terrace. Timothy Taylor's Champions Club Member. The Landlord, Ian, was previously at The Black Swan in Asselby, which was twice runner up York Pub of the Year, and won a Spring Pub of the Season award. Picnic tables by the car-park provide facilities for smokers. Please note this pub is only accessible via a staircase. 4 ales available, this usually includes one dark ale. There is some memorabilia on display from the old Darley's brewery at Thorne. Assorted guitars are also on display, and these can be played by competent players.
