This Pub is Closed Long Term
This multi-roomed pub occupies the former stationmaster's house at Heighington Station, next to the level crossing where the first ever locomotive to haul a passenger train was hoisted on to the track in 1825. Four guest beers and a friendly atmosphere are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. A terrace occupies the original platform with an additional courtyard for outside drinking. Home-made food is served in the pub or upstairs restaurant. Beware - the last train leaves early.
