Large roadside pub, hard to miss!. Genuine pub feel with slate and wooden floors. Popular eating place, with a varied specials board, and a separate restaurant. Pool table. Dogs welcome in front bar. Under same ownership as Bower House.

One of five pubs down the valley, all selling real ale, and accessible by narrow gauge steam railway.
