This Pub is Permanently Closed

Affectionately known locally as 'Minnie's' after the landlady who was born in the pub in the early part of the last century. Minnie was reputed to be the oldest and longest serving landlady in England; She was 97 when she died in 2013. Going into this pub was like going into somebody's front room - a real gem.

After her death her son Thexton applied to have the pub converted into a 3 story house.
