This Pub is Permanently Closed

The Good Companions, on the very edge of Croydon's boundary with Surrey, closed in 2012. The site was acquired by Lidl for a supermarket, a very controversial local issue. Planning application 12/02184/DT requesting demolition of the pub was approved on 31 August 2012.
