This Pub is Permanently Closed
Pub closed Jun 2012. Basic but friendly back-street local, handy for the railway and bus stations. The single comfortable wood-floored bar has a separate annex for games. Children are welcome. The landlady claims to be a direct descendant of Richard Trevithick, who went to Peru for a while during the 19th century to build steam pumping engines for the mines there - hence the name. You may bring your own food.
