Church Street Tavern is a large modern public house. The building dates back to 1850, when it was built as a savings bank. The ground floor is the bar and lounge, with plenty of comfortable seating, serving a variety of bottle conditioned ales and bottle craft beers and some craft beers on tap. The first floor is the dining room serving simple, freshly prepared, wholesome food.
