This Pub is Permanently Closed

A lively community pub on the main road through Penketh offering regular live music. Registered as an Asset of Community Value Summer 2016 after fears of demolition for housing, the owners, New River Retail, subsequently committed to the future of the pub and downsized their housing plans to unused land behind the pub only. No Real Ale.
