This Pub is Closed Long Term

On a country lane close to Alder Root Golf Club and the site of the Burtonwood USAF base. Space is limited inside, as every spare inch is full of curiosities, oddities and World War II memorabilia. Two rooms are dedicated to drinkers to chat to the enthusiastic staff and explore what seems to be a cross between a pub and a museum. Two further rooms are set aside for diners to enjoy the excellent food. A central bar serves up to three guest beers which can be sourced from anywhere in the country. Damaged by fire March 2020.

***AS OF OCTOBER 2025 NEW OWNERS CLAIM THE BUILDING IS NO LONGER SAFE. DEMOLISHED 20th OCTOBER APPARENTLY WITHOUT PLANNING PERMISSION***

**AS OF AUGUST 2023 TRUST INNS HAVE PUT THE PUB ON THE MARKET THROUGH CHRISTIES & CO (ON RIGHTMOVE) FOR SALE AS LICENSED PREMISES FOR £350K**
