Superbly set in a medieval 12th-century sandstone undercroft with exposed walls and vaulted ceilings. Besides the main bar with its pillars, two arched chambers lead off to the rear while there's further seating at pavement level at the front and off to the side. It's surprising to discover there is also a rooftop terrace but why miss out on such a marvellous interior?
