This Pub is Closed Long Term

Rural Inn dating back to the 17th century which looked gone forever some years ago but has now been brought back to life by the new tenants. The entrance leads to a small bar and dining room with an impressive refurbished log burner and old piano. Further rooms reveal themselves as you walk around the pub, including a separate conservatory dining room. It is well situated for walking along the Sandstone Trail and is also handy for local cycling routes.

Reported in November 2024 that cask ale had been discontinued.
