Hotel bar open to non-residents.

Large hotel on the A5 just under a mile west of Llangollen centre. Rafters public bar is a comfortable, carpeted, civilised affair featuring a brick surround wood burner stove. The outside decking has fine views of the majestic river Dee with the steam railway beyond. Look out for Alfie, a 30+ year old African Grey parrot near reception.
