This Pub is Closed Long Term

Closed at the end of November 2021 with the future currently uncertain for the pub.

Smart free house on a narrow street of terraced housing. The spick and span front room has a slate floor, comfortable bench seating, stools and small cast iron tables. Decor includes beer posters, breweriana and black and white pit head drawings. There's also a tiny snug area before a door that leads onto a corridor serving the toilets and a rear room with pool table and juke box. At the back is a pleasant decked area and lawn with trestles. A public car park is nearby. Unfortunately, post-Covid, turnover of cask has been low so it has been discontinued. Hopefully it will reappear with the return of relative normality as this was a rare cask outlet for the area. NOTE: the pub does not have a phone number. For info, contact via Twitter.
