Standing beside the busy A5 this cheerful freehouse is a simple three-roomed affair with a small central bar with a comfortable lounge, popular with diners, and a quieter side room either side. Rear veranda decking offers panoramic views not least of the Llangollen canal as it approaches the eponymous (though not visible) world famous Pontcysyllte aqueduct.
