Bottle Shop & Tap Room.

The pub (bottle shop and tap toom) is striving to go someway towards adhering to the established norms, with its back to basics approach, and where even the bar, seating and tables have all been made locally from beech trees.

Upstairs there is a relaxing lounge where it would be hard not to chill out. There is also a loo that would win prizes.

It prided itself on not having a sports TV, nor any music, nor a jukebox, nor a one-armed-bandit and no food; just pleasant conversation.

Recently reportted as selling beers on handpull from Guisborough and Two by Two breweries.
