Usually two or three real ales available, see web site for latest offerings.

Muddy boots and dogs welcome, a log fire on cold days and food served most sessions. Bikers welcome. Handy for the Cleveland Way and Coast to Coast walks,

On site camping, free shuttle from Clay Bank car park.

Monthly folk night.

Pub website gives a full description of the six German lagers that are served, and brewed under the 509 years old German Purity Laws.

A shop within the pub has recently been added, ideal for basic supplies and a range of homemade and craft gifts to remind you of your stay in the North York Moors National Park, while also supporting local craftsmen and farm producers.
