Friendly local, over 200 years old. The unusual split-level layout is built up to the road by the canal bridge. Wheelock Angling Society was founded here in 1948 by five local men. NOTE: the adjacent car park is owned by Italian Restaurant and fees may be charged. Car parking is available opposite the pub. Access from canal boats along wharf/canal bank path.
