This Pub is Closed Long Term

Unable to identify when Pub Shut. Further Investigation required.

Traditional pub with open fires and low ceilings. Will shortly be providing fresh cooked pub food. Quiz night, Monday's. A plaque on the pub commemorates Joe Payne (born next to the pub), the only Football League player to score 10 goals in a game, in April 1936, when his team Luton Town beat Bristol Rovers 12-0. Food available from September 2017.
