This Pub is Closed Long Term

A 1960s pub/restaurant whose open-plan interior is modern, light and airy. Under new management from January 2018 by Rosario and Rita who also run the White Horse at Waterbeach, the pub now has longer opening hours than of late when it operated as mainly a coffee shop. Most people come here to eat and the new menu offers a wide range of popular dishes. The new managers hope to turn it back into the previously successful pub that it once was.

The Wheatsheaf closed at the end of 2019 and the freehold is currently up for sale.

Planning permission (24/00087/FUL) was granted in March 2024 for the pub's demolition and replacement with a religious place of worship. Demolition began in September 2024.
