Situated in the centre of Idle village, this modern micro-bar opened in November 2016 and is housed within the premises of the former Briggs draper. It comprises a single room containing the bar on the ground floor with an additional comfortable lounge area above. The bar includes two handpulls for real ales. To the rear is a converted barn, believed to be one of the oldest buildings in the village, which houses Bone Idle Brewery and has an upstairs TV/cinema room and an outdoors seating area. The upstairs room can be hired for private functions as can the barn. The brewery has not returned to full operation since the recent pandemic and fingers are crossed that it will be back soon. The barn can be made available for community events and the Bone Idle Mens Club meet there every Wednesday evening. Payments by card only.
