This Pub is Permanently Closed

Rebuilt in 1894 this roadside pub, located next to the popular Lister Park, was called 'The Turf', and has previously been called "The Park". It comprises one very large horse-shoe shaped room with an area of unusual raised seating with footrails and settees along the wall. To the rear is a large car park and also a small beer garden. It closed in August 2018 and it has now been converted into the Kashmiri Aroma Indian Restaurant
