This Pub is Permanently Closed

This stone-built Grade II listed pub is on CAMRA's national inventory as a pub of outstanding historic interest. The interior of the pub was particularly noted and formed a principal part of the Listed Building description. The pub has been closed for a while. In 2013, a development was progressed that has destroyed the heritage interest of the building. An extremely sad loss for the district. The issue may well have future ramifications.
