This traditional community local is situated about a mile south of the town centre. It was substantially altered and refurbished internally in 2012 to provide a large, smart, L-shaped single room, with a wood-topped bar counter around the inside corner.

Fairly standard pub food, with children's menu. Buffets can be pre-arranged for groups/parties.
