This Pub is Permanently Closed
Three-storey brick building built in the early 1900s on the site of the earlier Talbot Hotel. The New Talbot was also once a hotel, but now a two-roomed lively locals pub featuring a fairly basic public bar and a larger comfortable lounge on opposite sides of a central serving area and each with its own street entrance. There is also a very large function room (popular for wedding receptions and family parties) in an attached annexe. Food is limited to filled cobs at weekends. Occasional live music and karaoke.
