This Pub is Permanently Closed

Mid-terrace free-house in row of shops, on edge of main shopping area. Attractive hanging baskets adorn front in summer. Inside, there is a single L-shaped room with 'Tudor style' beamed ceiling with 'cottage rendering' in between; raised area around bar counter. Photographs of old Burton and horse racing on walls, the latter reflecting the pub owner's past involvement in the sport. Food limited to filled cobs during 'daytime'. Family-owned pub with plenty of character and wide ranging clientele. Bingo Thursday evening; karaoke Friday evening.
