Historic Interest

Delicensed on 16/03/12 but closed prior to this date. Landlord Edward Dawson, owner Faruq Darvesh or/was Marstons. The pub was listed in John Stotts 1977 Guide to Good Beer in Bolton as selling Tetley Bitter and Mild (E), with Juke Box, darts, dominoes, pool and snacks. Interesting old Walkers adverts on the etched windows. In May 1981 it was a Tetley Keg pub. It was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide. The pub was swapped from Tetley to Burtonwood in January 1993, but remained keg only.
