Historic Interest

In May 1981 this was a Whitbread Keg pub. The Pub was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton guide as it only sold keg beer. In April 1995 the pub was selling Holts Bitter and in June 1995 it was noted the pub was now owned by Greenwood Leisure and was selling Tetley Bitter, a House Bitter called Pomps Bitter as well as the Holts Bitter. It was listed in the Good Beer Guide for 1998. The pub was still selling Holts Bitter in September 2001. It was delicensed on 23/04/14 when it was a closed and boarded up long term keg pub with minimal turnover.
