Historic Interest
In May 1981 it was a Bass keg pub called the Bulls Head. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as now selling Stones Bitter (H). The Prices Survey visited here on May 19th 1994. In 2010 no cask beer was available, but with a new licensee in 2014 there was handpumps on the bar selling Bank Top Flat Cap, this lasted for a while until Covid then did not return before the pub closed in September 2025.
