After a few years of being an Indian Vegetarian Restaurant reverted back to the Derby Arms and now Gee's Bar and restaurant. The long bar serves an opened out room and there is a great view of Bolton Town Centre and the moors beyond from the window behind the bar. There is a pool table in an area with a large window to the rear and comfortable seating at the front. Children are welcome up to 7 pm-but not in the bar area! The upstairs accommodation has been turned into eight bedsits which are accessible via a separate entrance. Note the Coat of Arms of the Derby Family. There is a small covered outdoor seating area at the rear for those wishing to smoke.

Historic Interest

In 1982 this was a Whitbread pub called the Derby Arms and sold Castle Eden Ale and Chesters Bitter which soon changed to Trophy Cask Bitter (H)
